This is probably one of the favourite things I own. It’s a photograph of one of my birthday parties with a few of my friends. We used to play dress up and my parties were knowned as the best parties ever, mainly ‘cause of my father’s cake. Then we grew up. We became too old for dress up, for parties and eventually, too old to have friends. My dad still bakes me the same cake every year, for nineteen years now. like an ode to all the happiness and friends I used to have.
